We are a group of actors, writers and directors, formed in November 2007 with the aim of bringing neglected plays to a wider public. Accordingly we present semi-staged script-in-hand readings in North London.

The plays are rehearsed for four hours only on the afternoon of the preceding Sunday, with a brief 'top up' session before the performance.  Notwithstanding the short rehearsal time, we strive for the highest professional standards in all our work.

North London Actors focuses primarily on past plays.  However some slots are devoted to new work in development, so that writers may have the opportunity to experience the audience response to their writing.

Next Production

Our next production, on Wednesday 14th May, will be three short plays by Chekhov:

  • The Proposal directed by Simon Nuckley,
  • Smoking is Bad for You directed by Martin Brady
  • and The Wedding directed by Lee Peck.

Casting opportunities for actors are available:  contact Gareth Pilkington by telephone or email (as above) for further information.
