We are a group of actors, writers and directors, formed in November 2007 with the aim of bringing neglected plays to a wider public. Accordingly we present semi-staged script-in-hand readings in North London.

The plays are rehearsed for four hours only on the afternoon of the preceding Sunday, with a brief 'top up' session before the performance.  Notwithstanding the short rehearsal time, we strive for the highest professional standards in all our work.

North London Actors focuses primarily on past plays.  However some slots are devoted to new work in development, so that writers may have the opportunity to experience the audience response to their writing.

We welcome legitimate approaches for work opportunities. However anyone advertising for unpaid extras should be advised that they are likely to be reported to Equity.

Next Production

Our next production is Ibsen's Lady From The Sea, directed by Gareth Pilkington.
Performance at 7.30 on Wednesday, 15th February, venue to be confirmed - watch this space!

We're planning to expand our activities with monthly play reading sessions between the regular rehearsed readings. These are intended more for the actors than an audience - no rehearsal, just meet on the night and go for it. The first session is likely to take place in the last week of February.

There's some uncertainty over venues for future meetings at the moment, as the Grand Union at Kentish Town has closed. Until a new regular venue is arranged, locations may vary. Please keep checking this page for further news.
